about
I am a Creative and Production Executive that has successfully run global businesses for the last 10+ years, from Brazil, to Argentina, to Central America, Mexico, Canada, China, and the Middle East. During that time, I’ve had the privilege to be the creative custodian of the Global Chevrolet Brand as Chief Creative Officer Global Markets. I am honored to have been recognized for the work I’ve nurtured during this time from Cannes, to Webby’s, to El Ojo, to D&AD, to LIA, to Effie’s – over 200 times in the last 5 years alone.
Currently, I am now a bonafide businessman with a P&L and everything, having taken on the responsibility of CRAFT Detroit as President and ECD. A bespoke production company within MWG and a critical part of the larger CRAFT Global Network. It is my mission to execute at the highest level from shoot to ship. We are creatively led, with the acumen of a Production Company, built from the ground up to be efficient. My years of leadership has prepared me well for this role as I look to employ the latest technologies, expanding our capabilities in ways that are fitting for our client’s needs while maintaining high standards for creative excellence.
If my last 9 months are any indication of the future, I can’t wait to see what we’re going to make of this…
thinking
The secret to building anything is a strong foundation, and that is the Culture in which the creative is developed. Without a culture built on respect for individual talent and their abilities to create, you have nothing.
We are but custodians of the brands we work on. Our job is to clean them up, put things in order, make them shine, and try our hardest not to let them tarnish. If we’re lucky, we see them prosper and grow, taking a little pride for ourselves along the way, as they take on the world. And when the time comes, hand it off to the next soul willing to take on this unforgiving responsibility.
While we all enjoy the fruits of our labors and the kudos and the accolades that come with great work, if we’re honest with ourselves, the brand’s success is what really matters. When our brands succeed, it means the work we’ve done has truly touched someone in some way, made a connection with a vast audience, and gotten them to act. Connecting with people on a human level, that is the real impact of great work.
